Training Programme on "People Centered Development: Experience of SAARC Countries" held at Islamabad from 11th to 31st August 2008. This training programme was organized by SAARC Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC) Islamabad, Pakistan and Dr.Ch.Abrar Majid, Director Sheikh 
Trust for Human Development also participated from Pakistan in this Training Programme. Mr. Yeshi Dorji, Mr. Tashi Penjor (Bhutan)Mr. Giriraj Gnawali, Mr. Shanti Raj Prasai (Nepal), Mr. Kahandugoda Kankanamge Dhanasiri , Mr. Bharatha Ramanayake, Mrs. Nirmala C. Fernando (Sirilanka) were specially invited to Participate in this Training Programm. This Training held at SAARC 
Human Resource Development Center Islamabad. Participants also visited Earth Quick effected area as well. Umar Asghar Khan Development Foundation was hoast NGO who took the participants to differnt projects in the EQE Area of Abbotabad.
