Symposium on "Bridging the Gap: Linking Finanicing and Qualit of Health Services" held held on 25th - 26 July 2011 at PC Bhurban. This symposium was organized by GIZ, Federal Ministery of Planning Commission and Ministry of Sciece and Technology. Two hundred expertise from public as well as private sector participated in this symposium. All relevent health issues were discussed in detail. Some model projects working in Pakistan were also documented. No doubt health sector in Pakistan need reforms and immediate steps to meet the health needs of nation particulary the poorest class. Dr Ch Abrar Majid, philanthropist,Executive Director also participated in this program. Mr Abdul Jamil Kakar, Project Director Social Protection Program was awarded on his presentation and performance as member of the event management team on the symposium.

Distribution of NFIs in Tornado hit area of Sialkot

The whole process was organized and managed by Community Development Concern. These NFIs were provided and monitored by International Organization of Migration, UN organization.

Demonstration for reinstatement of Judiciary was held at Zero Point Islamabad on 28 the August 2008. Lawyer fraternity, Civil Societies and Political Parties also participated in this Demonstration. They blocked the roads and condemned the Government for their wrong full decisions and demanded immediate reinstatement of Judiciary. Dr.Ch.Abrar Majid Advocate, Member Islamabad Bar Association and Director, Sheikh Trust for Human Development also Participated in this peace full demonstration. Many other Prominent personalities also participated in this Demonstration like Justice(R) Tariq Mahmood, Athar Minallah, Mohammad Akram Gondal, Dr. Abdul Aziz and President Islamabad Bar Association Islamabad. This Demonstration took place from 12 AM to 2PM. Participants at demonstration also condemned the Judges who took oath for their new appointments because this act is acceptance of the action taken by Musharraf on 3rd November 2008. Civil Society and Tahreek-e-insaf also participated in this demonstration against Government P0licies regarding Judiciary they said any trick to fail the movement for impartial and free judiciary is not acceptable in any form. Reinstatement of Judiciary is indispensable for Development of this country and those setting difficulties are against the development of this country.

Twenty four Participants from twenty countries participated in this learning programm. Dr. Ch. Abrar Majid Advocate High Court, Director Sheikh Trust for Human Development was also invited to participate in this global learning Programm. He was only alone from Pakistan in this Global Programm. On twelvth December (Human Rights Day) all participants participated in Human Rights rally organized by Human Rights Organizations from all Malaysia.
